The Ontario online gaming market continues to be a popular target for operators and gaming studios looking to capitalize on the growing market. RAW iGaming launched some of the company’s online gaming options into the province in October and announced an even bigger move last week.
The game studio has partnered with BetMGM to expand even more into Ontario. Players on the platform will now be able to access RAW’s slot games like SuperSlice, Supertracks, and others.
“This deal proves that paying attention to what players want really helps a market entry,” RAW iGaming CEO Tom Wood said of the agreement. “We know that the more attractive our content is, the better we are, and we’re excited to see the results. Our thanks to BetMGM for supporting us and our innovations.”
A Different Kind of Slot Experience
BetMGM offers players a library of more than 3,600 titles across North American markets. The company is now including RAW ‘s exclusive, patent-pending mechanics and game engines such as Dynamic Ways and SuperStretch in Ontario.
RAW, founded in 2021 and based in Malta, works to provide slot-style games that are considerably different from what might be found on the casino floor or on traditional online platforms. The studio notes that it looks to offer different options than “row after row of 3×5 or 4×5 games.” For example, SuperTracks offers play based on symbols moving along tracks on the screen rather than traditional video reels.
“Our innovative products push boundaries but still deliver experiences that players recognize and want to play – a balance that is hard to strike,” Wood said.
The BetMGM deal is part of RAW’s efforts to expand into more North American markets. The company has signed partnerships with other operators around the world in recent months as well. BetMGM officials were pleased to bring the operator’s games on board.
“BetMGM welcomes RAW iGaming to Ontario and expects its entertaining titles to be a great compliment to our award-winning online casino,” BetMGM Vice President of Gaming Product and Content Oliver Bartlett said.
