? Short Review
I tried Amazon Slots, the recently launched gambling site in Ontario, and I’m positively surprised. I’d never heard of the brand before, so I don’t have any previous experience with the casino or how it operates outside of Ontario. But in short, Amazon Slot is exactly what it says it is; a slot gambling site with a rainforest theme.
I recommend this online casino for slot players since the game library is mostly that. I noticed that they have old classics like Wolf Gold and some new titles, although nothing amazing. I was also impressed by how fast the site works. It’s very light-weight, so the navigation is smooth, and it didn’t lag on my 5-year-old Android phone.

Let’s dive deeper and look at the new casino in-depth. I tested how easy it is to create an account, how to navigate to games and cashier, and whether I could find all the information I wanted. I also tried a few slot games and some table games. Although I must admit that I didn’t find anything surprising or special about any of the games the site offers, they all worked well with no lag and were responsive to my tapping and swiping.
? Who Owns Amazon Slots?
Amazon Slots is owned by Six Gaming Limited, a company based in Alderney. The company is registered at La Corvee House, La Corvee Alderney, GY9 3TQ. As far as I know, Six Gaming Ltd. doesn’t have other casino sites in Ontario, so this is their first AGCO-licensed gambling site.
In the UK, and other countries Amazon Slots, is part of the Jumpman Gaming Group, which is known for laid-back casual gaming sites. This online casino is in no way affiliated with Amazon Prime or any other aspect of the e-commerce giant.
? Compared to Other Casinos
I think it’s slightly unfair to compare Amazon Slots to most Ontario online casinos because this casino specializes in certain game slots. I’d much rather compare it to other slot casinos like Zodiac Casino Ontario and CasinoDays.
Zodiac Casino Ontario
Compared to Zodiac Casino, Amazon Slots feels more modern and user-friendly. While Zodiac and other Casino Rewards sites are licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and have operated in Canada for ages, I feel the casino hasn’t developed or changed much.
Amazon Slots also carries games from providers other than Microgaming, while their game libraries are almost the same (around 550 for both). The only minus Amazon Slots gets is the minimum deposit requirement. You can start playing for only $1 on Zodiac, while on Amazon Slots, you need a minimum of $10.
CasinoDays Ontario
When I compare Amazon Slots to a more modern casino like CasinoDays Ontario, it’s pretty evident that it’s not a modern casino. For example, the graphics are from the early 2010s, and the web design (fonts, etc.) looks outdated. I can’t really compare the game libraries as well since CasinoDays has over 3,000 games, which is over 5 times more than what Amazon Slots offers.
However, I have to hand it to Amazon Slots when it comes to the speed of the site. CasinoDays is sometimes really laggy, and when I scroll, the site might get stuck. I haven’t encountered such problems with Amazon Slots.
? Who Can Play on Amazon Slots?
Amazon Slots Ontario accepts players who are in Ontario. You don’t have to be a resident; as long as you’re physically inside the province borders, you can play. In addition, you need to be over 19 years old and have an internet connection.
If you’re over 19 years old and are physically in Ontario, you’re good to go! Keep in mind that if you travel outside of Ontario, you won’t be able to log in to the Amazon Slots Ontario site. Luckily, there’s another site for the rest of Canada, but you cannot use the same account.
Location Permission
When it comes to Ontario casinos, the most crucial thing to remember is the location services. When I logged onto Amazon Slots on my computer (using Chrome), a popup appeared and asked me to give permission to use my location. Since I already know how this works, I gave permission. But had I not, the casino site would’ve kicked me out.
My browser didn’t ask me that question when I used my Android phone (again with Chrome) because I’ve already enabled location services in my phone’s settings. You can play slot and table games for real money at Amazon Slots. There are about 550 games available. Of these, around 40 are table games, including live casino. I think the casino is best for slots players because there are a lot of slots, and the game categories are catered to those games. The table game section is more limited than the average casino, so I can’t recommend it.

Believe it or not, there are 551 slot games on Amazon Slots Ontario. How do I know? Well, I calculated manually because I wanted an exact number. The casino markets itself by saying they have 200+ games, but clearly, they have way more than that.
However, does quantity mean quality? I skimmed through the library and played some of my favourite games, like Wolf Gold and Book of Dead (what can I say, I like the classics), and they worked perfectly. The games were responsive to my taps and didn’t lag even though I used my slow wifi. If you know what you like or are totally new to the online gambling scene, I’d say Amazon Slots is a good choice. But if you like table games, I say skip this one.
Table Games and Live Casino
I’ll admit it: I was a tad bit dissatisfied with the table games selection. While the casino’s name screams at you what type of games they offer, I’m always disappointed when I see a lacking table and a live games section. Nonetheless, Amazon Slots does have some card and dice games.
You can play classic games like Roulette, Blackjack, and Poker, along with their variations. There are also a few live game shows, like Spin a Win, but nothing else. If you end up playing on this site, then I’d recommend you test the live casino section as well. But don’t go and create an account just for live dealer titles.
? Can I Play on Mobile?
Yes, you can. While I couldn’t find an Ontario casino app, you can visit the site on your handheld devices. I visited the casino site on an Android phone using Chrome, and the site and games worked perfectly. I’m sure the casino works well on Apple devices and on tablets.
In fact, I think the best way to enjoy slots is to use a mobile device. I like playing short sessions when I’m queueing or waiting for the bus, and the Amazon slots mobile casino is great for this. I rarely play on a laptop, but I understand if you’d rather use a mouse. In my experience, the online casino ran well in both systems, so I wouldn’t pass on this site because of your preferred playing platform.
? What Banking Options Can I use?
Amazon Slots accepts Interac, MasterCard, Paysafecard, and Visa, as most casinos in Ontario and Canada do. Interac is my number one payment method, and I like using it in my free time. However, for this review, I tried depositing with MasterCard and Paysafe. Both methods worked as well as Interac does, so I’m sure Visa works well as well.
However, the payment options are very limited. There’s no option to use Skrill or Netller, which I don’t understand. Even ecoPayz or eCheck would’ve been a nice welcome. So, if you like using any of these methods, I don’t think this casino is for you.
Deposits and Withdrawals
The minimum deposit at Amazon Slots is lower than the average in Ontario. You can start playing by adding at least C$10 to your account. To me, this is a nice sum, as it’s not too big, but it gives me plenty of playtime. With $20 casinos, I feel like you must commit, and that’s not ideal when you’re trying a new casino site.
